A New Era: Collaborate & Innovate
Dear Friends,For the past three years, our region and its board have worked hard on our mission to collaborate and integrate with the greater Unity movement, which resulted in two major innovations in addition to many smaller efforts:
We provided a starting capital of $20,000 to UWM to establish their Loaves & Fishes fund.
We funded the first year of UWM's virtual YFM Curriculum with a $12,000.
Both of these investments have and continue to support our entire movement and well beyond our regional influence. At the last board meeting/retreat, the board of trustees decided to continue to seek opportunities to invest in the growth and wealth of Unity worldwide.
Message from the Board President
Beloved Friends,
What a year 2020 has been! While it has challenged us to reinvent how we ‘do’ spiritual community, it has also brought out our greatest strengths as leaders and has given us reason to learn and grow.
As we reflect on the year, we are so grateful for all the ways this region has “risen to the occasion.” Here is a little overview of what Unity South Central Region accomplished in 2020:
We made a $20,000 donation to Unity Worldwide Ministries’ Hug Fund to create supplemental support for ministers who experienced financial difficulty due to the pandemic. UWM added to and grew that fund exponentially, creating the “Loaves and Fishes fund.” This was an awesome collaboration that allowed us to support not only our region but the entire Unity movement.

Collectively reimagining ministry for 2021 and beyond!
The agenda is yours to support in designing. Rev. Toni G. Boehm will facilitate the sharing. Collectively, we will determine how often to meet.
A Letter from Rev. Susan Gumm
What an interesting year this has turned out to be in ministry. COVID-19 has challenged us to be innovative and creative in how we do ‘church’. Our normal ways of connecting with one another have been placed on hold as our in-person Unity People’s Convention and our own USCR Conference in Boulder, Colorado, were canceled for 2020.
